MainStreet Minute: February 2026

February may be the shortest month of the year, but there’s no shortage of activity happening downtown!

Work continues on the Foch Street Great Blocks renovation project, and we appreciate the community’s patience through temporary traffic and parking adjustments. These improvements are an investment in the long-term vitality of our downtown district, helping create a safer, more walkable, and more welcoming space for residents and visitors alike. We’re excited to see progress unfolding and look forward to the end result.

On February 14, volunteers showed their love for our community during the Love Your City Litter Clean-Up, held as part of our Clean & Beautiful Grant initiative. Community members of all ages rolled up their sleeves to help pick up litter across downtown. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time on Valentine’s Day to help keep Truth or Consequences looking its best - your efforts truly make a visible difference.

Planning is also well underway for the Levitt AMP Truth or Consequences Music Series. Our music selection committee is hard at work reviewing talented artists from across the country to bring a diverse and dynamic lineup to our community. This free concert series at Ralph Edwards Park is made possible in part by grant funding and strong local support, and we look forward to announcing dates and more details soon.

As always, we encourage you to shop local, dine downtown, and support the small businesses that make Truth or Consequences unique. Even during construction, your continued presence and patronage make a meaningful difference.

If you’re interested in getting involved - whether by volunteering or supporting upcoming events - we’d love to hear from you. Together, we’re building a vibrant and resilient downtown for 2026 and beyond.
