MainStreet Minute: April 2026
Spring is in full swing, and there are plenty of ways to get involved in our downtown community!
In honor of Earth Day, MainStreet T or C is hosting a litter cleanup on Friday, April 24, at 1 pm at Ralph Edwards Park. This event coincides with the Sierra County Clean-up Day, and it will help get our downtown ready for Fiesta the following weekend! Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. We’ll provide trash bags and gloves, and we have a limited number of litter grabbers available to check out. It’s a great opportunity to give back, connect with neighbors, and help keep T or C beautiful..
We’re also gearing up for Fiesta and are looking for volunteers to help make it a success. Volunteers are needed for two hour shifts at the Fiesta booth, selling merchandise and answering questions. Every volunteer will receive a Fiesta t-shirt. If you’re interested, come to our Fiesta Volunteer Info Meeting on Monday, April 27 at 4:00 PM at the MainStreet office (308 S. Pershing) to learn more and sign up for a shift!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the Levitt Music Series, happening Thursday evenings in September and October from 6:00–9:00 PM at Ralph Edwards Park. These concerts are free and open to everyone, and will bring great music and vibrant energy to T or C. Each week will feature an artist of a different musical genre - plus, there will be vendors, food trucks, and activities. Headliners and more information will be announced soon!
Want to learn more about MainStreet T or C or get involved as a volunteer or sponsor? We’d love to hear from you! Follow us on Facebook, visit www.torcmainstreet.org, email us at director@torcmainstreet.org, or stop by our office at 308 S. Pershing.
