There is a lot happening in downtown Truth or Consequences as we head into an exciting fall! The biggest news is that the Levitt AMP Truth or Consequences Music Series is almost here. Beginning September 10, Ralph Edwards Park will come alive every Thursday evening through October 22 with seven free concerts featuring an incredible variety of music. From rock and world music to zydeco, Latin fusion, electronic music, bluegrass and Americana, there really will be something for everyone. The concerts run from 6–9 p.m., and we encourage everyone to bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab some food from our food trucks, visit the vendors, and enjoy an evening of great live music with friends and family.

We’re also celebrating the completion of the Foch Street Great Blocks project! After months of construction, Foch Street between Main and Broadway has been transformed, creating a more attractive and pedestrian-friendly area of downtown. This project represents a significant investment from New Mexico MainStreet in our downtown and our community, and we’re excited to officially celebrate its completion with a ribbon cutting on Saturday, September 12,at 5:30 pm (just before Second Saturday Art Hop). We hope you’ll join us to see the finished project and celebrate everyone who helped make it happen.

And there’s still more to look forward to! On Friday, September 18, we’ll be hosting a Deck of Cards Sneak Peek Party, giving the community a first look at the one-of-a-kind deck featuring artwork created by local artists and an auction where individuals can purchase the original artwork. This project is a celebration of the creativity and character that make T or C such a special place. The event will take place at RioBravoFineArt Gallery, 110 N. Broadway, from 6:30-9 pm; tickets are $12 for individuals/$20 for two, and include refreshments.
