MainStreet Minute: July 2026

Summer may still be in full swing, but MainStreet Truth or Consequences is already looking ahead to an exciting fall filled with music and community events!

We’re hosting the last of the Dancing in the Streetlight summer downtown concert series on Friday, August 7 beginning at 6 pm at the Healing Waters Plaza. Constance is opening the show and Suthern Blend is headlining. Come hungry and grab dinner from a food truck, and remember to bring your lawn chairs, dancing shoes, and all your friends and family!

Although the downtown series is coming to a close, music will continue through the fall at Ralph Edwards Park! We're thrilled to have finalized the lineup for the inaugural Levitt AMP Truth or Consequences Music Series, presenting seven weeks of free, family-friendly live music.  Come enjoy a show every Thursday evening, 6 pm - 9 pm, from September 10 through October 22. Each week will feature a different genre of music, including Zydeco, bluegrass, electronic dance, world guitar, Americana, and more. We hope you'll join us each week as we celebrate music, community, and everything that makes Truth or Consequences special.

We're also excited to launch Socially Savvy T or C, a marketing program designed to help local businesses strengthen their social media presence. An initial seminar on best practices in social media marketing will be open to anyone in the community, and MainStreet district businesses will be able to apply to be part of a group for more intense training and feedback. Participants will receive hands-on training, practical marketing tips, and individualized guidance to help them better promote their business on Facebook and Instagram.
