On Saturday, November 29, we encourage you to get a start on your holiday shopping in small, locally-owned businesses. Before you start searching the big online shops, take a stroll through downtown T or C, check out the stores in Elephant Butte, or see what some shops in smaller towns such as Hillsboro, Caballo, Monticello, and Arrey have to offer.
During the holiday shopping season, it’s more important than ever to keep dollars in the local economy. When money is spent at locally-owned businesses, that money continues to circulate in the community. We have fantastic stores and businesses with wonderful items including unique art, clothing, food, and spa treatments. Let's show some love to our local businesses!

As an incentive to shop local, on Small Business Saturday, for each $20 you spend at a Sierra County small business, you can enter to win a gift certificate from a local business!
Event Day Details
Date of Event: November 29, 2025.
Time: Shop all day!
Location: Any small business in Sierra County.
For each $20 in receipts from small businesses, you will receive one raffle ticket. Multiple receipts from different businesses can be combined.
To enter the raffle:
From 12-8 pm, bring your receipts to MainStreet/Chamber of Commerce representatives at the T or C Brewery, 410 N. Broadway, T or C.
OR
email a picture of your receipts to director@torcmainstreet.org
Email must be sent by 11:59 PM on Sunday, 11/30
