RioBravoFineArt: 110 N. Broadway
Jia Apple is the artist featured at RioBravoFineArt, 110 North Broadway in Truth or Consequences, for Second Saturday Art Hop on December 13 from 6 to 9 pm.
Apple’s show is entitled FLIGHT and runs through January 25, 2026. This show explores flight in more ways than just defying gravity such as in the flight of a bird or airplane. It explores the “flight of new love, music or even the flight of fleeing for one’s life.” Flight is explored as a “kind of transcendence.”
Apple and her show will be part of a busy holiday season at RioBravoFineArt. The nationally recognized quilt show by Yadi Flannery will be on display throughout the holiday season and until January 25, 2026. This show of exceptional fiber art has received rave reviews from the many visitors to this show. In addition to the ongoing Flannery show, there will be two special displays in the main floor gallery spaces. There will be a display representing much of the work from the October opening show by two of the newest artists at the gallery – David Schwindt and Myron Leski. There will also be a display of small paintings by various gallery artists that are reasonably priced and would make excellent fine art gifts for the holidays. The January 2026 show opening will be by Virginia Hicks, a newcomer to the T or C arts scene. Check the gallery website for more information about the Hicks show.

Truth or Consequences Contemporary: 312 Main

Please join us for Art Hop at Truth or Consequences Contemporary on Saturday December 13th from 6-9. We will have TWO events going on!
Kyle Parker Cunningham will be sharing new intaglio prints, many of which have been adorned with gold leaf. They are truly something to behold, poignant, playful and provocative. He will also be having a holiday ULTRA-MEGA-SUPER SALE on a bunch of Art. Once a year we pull out treasures from the past and offer them an unbelievable discounts, all in the hopes of allowing magical gift giving to transpire. Treat yourself or find the perfect piece for a loved one.
We will also have an installation : Astral Gathering by Innerworkings Theater
Innerworkings Theater is the collaborative work of Wyona Gene Tourmaline and Arvid Tomayko, a duo creating performance worlds that probe what makes humans human. Their work blends wearable sculpture, movement, sound, and projection into living environments where clouds become a connective tissue. Drawing from nature, neuroscience, and tender humor, their performances explore the invisible architectures of connection: the ways bodies listen, misfire, repair, and reach toward intimacy. Innerworkings Theater builds temporary ecosystems where audiences can feel the undercurrents of relationship, inviting a shared recognition of our psychological strangeness, our longing to belong, and the fleeting, luminous moments when we find one another.
